On top of the health benefits, the MadCap venture represents potential savings to the Government of $6 million over 10 years.

For each person on a Disability Support Pension (DSP) working 15 hours a week, the government saves $167 fortnightly.

For those on a DSP working 30 hours per week the saving is $430 per fortnight. MadCap aims to achieve 15 hours per week for around 80 people per annum and 30 hours per week for around 20 people per annum, representing a savings to the government of over $570,000 annually or $6 million over 10 years.
